Top Tea Tips!
If you would like to get the best out of your Pembrokeshire Tea, there are a few little tips that you should follow to ensure that your Pembrokeshire Tea tastes at its very best!
- Fill your kettle with cold water, ensuring that you put more into your kettle than you are planning to drink
- Once the kettle reaches the boil, pour a little ( quarter of a cup ) of water into your teapot and swirl it around.
- Pour the water away from the teapot and put in a heaped teaspoon of your choice of Pembrokeshire Tea for each cup you wish to make, ( if your teapot has a strainer basket, use it! )
- Bring the kettle back up to the boil and pour the water into the teapot over the tealeaves.
- Let the tea steep ( brew ) in the teapot for around 3 to 5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.
- Stir the tea in the teapot just before serving and strain into your teacups, or mugs if you are not posh!
- Depending on your personal tastes, add sugar, milk, honey or lemon.
- Keep your teapot in a cosy to keep your pot of tea warm.
